For the first time, the Diversity Race will be held in Madrid, by a society proud of its sexual diversity. This is the first official race in honor of World Pride, which confirms Spains dedication to, and support of acceptance for people of all sexual orientations.

More than 20,000 runners will join the event in support of the LGBT society in a day of sport that fulfills three objectives:

• To fight against LGBT phobia in the world of sports.
• To give more visibility to women in sports.
• To join together in a universal sports activity as a society that celebrates diversity, coexistence, respect, and tolerance.

• Date: Sunday, June 25th. World Pride Madrid 2017 Start Event.
• Time: 10:00 am
• Start Line and Finish Line: Plaza de Colón

In addition, all registered runners will be given an official race t-shirt and goodie bag. A percentage of the proceeds from registration will go to foundations and associations whose purpose is to promote the integration of the LGBT community, to fight against discrimination and homophobic violence, as well as to support scholarships for the international conference on LGBT rights.
